How does voice setup work?

Hold the talk button and describe your workout (e.g., "5 rounds, 3 minutes, 1 minute rest"). Your speech is recognized on your device using Apple Speech (iOS) or Google Speech Services (Android), then parsed locally on your device to create the timer settings. The entire process happens on your phone — no audio recordings or voice data are sent to any external server.

Does the app send my voice data anywhere?

No. All voice processing happens entirely on your device. Your speech is recognized by Apple Speech (iOS) or Google Speech Services (Android) on-device, and the resulting text is parsed locally to create your timer. No audio recordings, transcriptions, or voice data are sent to any external server or third-party service. You can read more in our Privacy Policy.

Can I use the app without voice?

Absolutely. Tap "Or set up manually" on the main screen to build your timer by hand. You can also browse and use any of the 41 built-in templates from the Library tab. Voice setup is entirely optional.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Subscriptions are managed through your device's App Store. On iOS: Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions → RoundBoss. On Android: Play Store → Payments & Subscriptions → Subscriptions → RoundBoss. Cancel at least 24 hours before your renewal date to avoid being charged.

How do I delete my account?

Go to Settings in the app and tap "Delete Account." This permanently removes your account credentials and all associated data. You can also email support@roundboss.app to request data deletion.

The app isn't recognizing my voice correctly

Try speaking clearly and holding the button for the full duration of your description. Be specific: "5 rounds, 2 minutes each, 1 minute rest" works great. If voice isn't working, make sure you've granted microphone permission in your device settings. You can always fall back to manual setup.

Is my workout data synced across devices?

Yes, when you're signed in with your account. Your workout history, templates, and settings are stored in Firebase and sync across any device where you sign in with the same account.
